Today I show you a light dish, based on avocado and that goes great with some nachos or tortilla leaves. You guessed it ! It's about guacamole.

  • 2 pieces of ripe avocado
  • 1 file
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 red onion
  • hot peppers (depending on how spicy you eat)
  • 1 Chimion knife tip
  • a little extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 suitable tomato (or 2 smaller ones)
  • 1/2 bunch of coriander and salt and pepper to taste

Preparation time: less than 15 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Guacamole Appetizer:

Cut the avocado in half lengthwise. Then rotate one of the parts until it comes off the core. Then stick the middle of the knife blade into the core and you will notice that it comes out very easily. Take the core with a spoon and put it in a bowl.

Sprinkle it with fresh lime to prevent oxidation.

Remove the vein from the middle of the garlic clove - this is called the heart, and its size is given by the age of the garlic - it is the one that causes heartburn. Meanwhile, cut the onion and pepper and add them over the avocado in the bowl.

Add olive oil, cumin, fresh coriander, salt and pepper and blend everything.

At the end, remove the tomato core and cut it into small cubes. Mix the tomatoes in the composition with a spoon and decorate with fresh coriander and olive oil.
